What to do about shoes when your feet are unevenly sized? Hi all, All of my life I've had both wide (not mega-wide, but definitely wide enough to prevent me from wearing many brands of shoes) and uneven sized feet, which can make shoe shopping hard. I've searched a fair bit online and can't seem to really find any advice or ideas regarding what to do when your feet are not the same size. I'd say that my left foot is a size 8 or 81/2 (wide) and my left is usually around a size 9 (wide). When I do buy shoes I usually just end up buying ones that fit the larger foot and "coping" with it buy wearing thick socks or stuffing the toe (on the smaller foot). But stuffing the toe hurts and it certainly doesn't work for peep toes or sandals. My question is, what can I do if I find a pair of shoes that I love and they fit my largest foot but are too big on the smaller foot (aside from buying two different sized pairs, I mean). Would wearing an insole in just the smaller shoe help? Any tips would be super appreciated - thanks!! Sorry....I just realized that I accidentally said "left foot" twice when describing what sizes my feet are. My bad! My right foot is about a size 9 (wide) and my left is a 8 or 81/2 (wide).
