How can I purchase overstock and returns by the pallet DIRECT from the retailer?

I have found wholesalers who sell pallets with that they aquired from the retailer, but how does one aquire pallets of returns/overstock items directly from the retailer? So to say bypassing the middle man...

2. If you want to buy something from a retailer, you approach the retailer. Wave some cash under his nose. If you want to bypass the middle man, you need to do what the middle man does. Duh.
